This menu-selection allows the radio-users to determine their current location (latitude, longitude, time and date) and also the distance and bearing to another location ("waypoint"). This feature is available while operating in Conventional or Trunking communications mode.

If the Radio Wide, User Selectable Location Enable field is enabled, the radio-user is also allowed to turn the outdoor location / GPS (Global Positioning System) functionality on or off for all location / GPS enabled Conventional or Trunking communications channels |
